For Veterans Considering Education Abroad

Post 9/11 GI Bill recipients must be pursuing a degree in BA-Business Administration-International Business in order to be eligible for tuition and fee payments. Additionally under the Post 9/11 GI Bill the education abroad program must be one for which the tuition portion of the study abroad charges are posted to the veteran’s WSU Student Account, so veterans must chose an exchange programs or a faculty-led program in order to receive these benefits. Veterans participating in VA Educational Programs other than the Post 9/11 GI Bill may receive VA Educational Benefits for study abroad classes required for their designated program of study. All veterans are urged to meet with an Education Abroad Advisor to explore education abroad options that meet these criteria and to seek any needed clarification from the Veterans Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar.
