International Students Speak About Life and Study at Washington State University

Hospitality Student from Germany

“I have been lucky enough to work with students from almost every country you can imagine through my involvement with the International Student Council.

Although WSU is a big campus, after awhile you get to know many people. You see people you know and familiar faces everywhere. It gives me a feeling of being at home. There are many housing options. Living in the dorm makes it easy to get to know new people. You have a dining account which allows you to eat at any of the campus dining centers. You can also live in university apartments, some of which are furnished. Another option is to live off campus with friends. There are many opportunities to spend your free time. You can go to the recreation center without paying. You can organize outdoor recreation trips that the university helps you with. You can go to the theater…and participate in all kinds of sports in general. Everything your heart desires.”
