A very significant and important portion of the international undergraduate students that come to Washington State University begin at different institutions, and then finish their degree(s) here. We welcome those students and have made every effort to help them with the transition.
Tools for Transfer Students
A variety of services for the transfer student are available through the Transfer Center at the Student Advising and Learning Center.
Cougar Tracs- Complete a full degree audit on-line from potential transfer schools in Washington state as well as many other institutions around the United States
- Transfer Course Equivalency
- Course by course equivalency of the courses from all Washington state institutions as well as many other institutions to WSU courses

- Look up courses and college requirements online
- Transfer-In I-20 Request
- If you are traveling outside the U.S. before you start your studies
Advanced Credit
- Both Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate credit is accepted at WSU as university transfer credit from your high school studies.
Scholarships
- International Transfer Academic Award
- WSU provides tuition reductions for international transfer students who demonstrate excellent grades at their transferring institutions
