Traveling Abroad
Traveling abroad is enriching, but requires planning and prepartion. The resources provided below are presented to help assist you with the process.
Passports and Visas
A passport is often required to travel to a foreign country. A good place to learn about passport and visa acquisition is by visiting the U.S. Department of State. Other information from this source includes embassy and consulate listings, emergency reports and travel warnings, and resources for living abroad with a family
The United States Postal Service (USPS) is a acceptance agency for passport applications. A passport application may be downloaded from the USPS website. Completed applications can be submitted to the local post office branch. Note, identification forms are required as well as a passport photo. For people currently residing near Washington State University, both the post office and Kinko's copies offer passport quality photographs.
