This film examines the factors creating the cosmetic surgery boom in Seoul today through a montage of personal narration, contemporary news clips, film footage from the 1960s to the present day, street advertisement copy, and interviews that break down culturally-specific concepts of power within Korea's patriarchal society.  (47 min)

This workshop is desinged to prepare students to get the most out of their international education experience living and studying with people from different cultures.  We will take an in-depth look at cross-cultural interactions that WSU students have had and challenge you to think critically about the cultural values and belief-systems that come in to focus while living within a global community.
