International Fellowship Program
The International Programs Research and Development office coordinates fellowship experiences for foreign scholars working with departments across campus.
Since 2004 we have hosted scientists and scholars from developing countries who have traveled to Washington State University for opportunities in professional development and collaborative research with top scientists and practitioners in many disciplines.
The goals of the program are to foster lasting relationships between U.S. citizens and their colleagues in other countries, foster global development in agriculture and other disciplines, and strengthen international experiences among WSU faculty and graduate programs.
Participating fellows have received funding from the Borlaug Foundation and the USDA Foreign Agricultural Services (FAS). Countries represented include Yemen, Guyana, Algeria and Afghanistan.
