People of Malawi: Their Story and Our Story

Malawi is a country located in southeast Africa, completely landlocked by neighboring countries. With little access to the sea and plagued by droughts, its development has been hindered leading to tragic results. As time passes more and more children are being born leading to a surplus of mouths to feed. With money at a minimum, clothing is practically a luxury.

Our Project Goal

Our project has the hopes and intentions of providing at least 15,000 orphan children with shirts to clothe their malnourished bodies. While this looks to be a miniscule amount compared to the vast population, it is a start. By providing hope to those young children, we are shaping a new generation and potentially molding a brighter future.

Action You Can Take

We need your help and one simple task is all we ask. Go through your old clothing and find a shirt or two you can part with. Give shirts at locations around WSU. You will make a child in Malawi smile.
